Which set is right for me?
The most common golf cart setups are 36V and 48V systems. Mileage depends on Watt-hour stored energy and cart performance. For example, a 60Ah 48V system (2880Wh) will have more storage capacity and runtime compared to a 60Ah 36V system (2160Wh).
48V Golf Carts:
60Ah Battery: (4x12V, 2880Wh) - 30-35 miles (Average Use)
80Ah Battery: (4x12V, 3840Wh) - 45-50 miles (Extended Use)
100Ah Battery: (4x12V, 4800Wh) - 60+ miles (Extended Use)

Mileages are based on 2012+ fleet stock carts, 1 person, 12-15 mph. Mileages are a maximum usable distance and are not intended as a consistent discharge range. It is necessary to have a reserve charge capacity to maintain optimal runtimes, choose a higher capacity system for best results.
For golfers that play a single round between charges or modest neighborhood use we suggest starting at Average Use (2880Wh). For golfers that play 2 rounds between charges we suggest Extended Use or higher (3600Wh+). Factor in hilly terrain, multiple people, and travel to course; may need higher Wh capacity.
Non-stock items: upgraded motors / controllers, AC units, older carts, large tires / lifted carts, multiple people, etc. increases average power usage, we suggest starting at Extended Use or higher (3840Wh+) for best results.
Miles shown are depicted as a maximum 100%-0% range. Deep cycling to 0% does not hurt the life of LiFePo4 batteries, however frequent deep cycles past 30% charge is not recommended for series connected battery balance. The same holds true for series connected lead acid, however lead acid cells cannot be discharged below 50% without damage. Topping-off Lithium batteries after every discharge prevents balance related issues.

Allied Battery has over 30 years of experience in Lithium and safety. The LifePO4 chemistry used in our batteries is much safer than lead acid which produces harmful by products (lead and acid) that are hazardous materials.
Our BMS (battery management system) in each battery will detect any problems with the performance of the battery and shut down any cells not functioning properly. The BMS will also protect the batteries from any over-charging or under charging of the batteries.

2-3 Hour Fast Charging.
Charging: A full 48V setup will charge in 2-3 hours versus lead acid batteries that require 10-12 hours.
Opportunity Charging: This means you can top off your Lithium Batteries any time you want without harming the batteries (just like your cell phone). You cant do this with Lead Acid without damaging and reducing the life of the batteries.
In order to maximize the life of the Lithium battery we require the Allied Lithium Battery Charger. Allied Lithium chargers come with OEM plugs, charge the batteries quickly and turn off when charging is complete.
