Allied Lithium Batteries are the only true “Drop-in-Ready” Lithium batteries for golf carts. Our turn-key replacement system enables you to convert your cart from lead acid to lithium in less than 30 minutes. You can use the same wiring as used with your current lead acid system (however we do recommend our Allied lithium charger.)
This is the only Lithium Solution with golf cart batteries made to the exact dimensions as the lead acid batteries so the installation and the connection points are in the same place.
Common sets include 3 or 4 x 12V Lithium Batteries made to fit a 36V or 48V cart. Works with 6 x 8V and 4 x 12V configurations.
Allied lithium golf cart chargers are made with the OEM plug-in connectors so there are no special adapters required to charge the batteries.
Allied Lithium battery also have great solutions for marine, boats and RVs. Our long lasting lightweight solutions are drop in ready and are made with long lasting lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries.
To install remove the Lead-Acid batteries, replace with the (3 or 4) 12V Allied Lithium batteries, reattach cables, secure holding bracket and the install in complete.
Optional empty cases are available to fill any open battery slots.
The most common golf cart setups are 36V and 48V systems. Mileage depends on Watt-hour stored energy and cart performance. For example, a 60Ah 48V system (2880Wh) will have more storage capacity and runtime compared to a 60Ah 36V system (2160Wh).

Mileages are based on 2012+ fleet stock carts, 1 person, 12-15 mph. Mileages are a maximum usable distance and are not intended as a consistent discharge range. It is necessary to have a reserve charge capacity to maintain optimal runtimes, choose a higher capacity system for best results.
For golfers that play a single round between charges or modest neighborhood use we suggest starting at Average Use (2880Wh). For golfers that play 2 rounds between charges we suggest Extended Use or higher (3600Wh+). Factor in hilly terrain, multiple people, and travel to course; may need higher Wh capacity.
Non-stock items: upgraded motors / controllers, AC units, older carts, large tires / lifted carts, multiple people, etc. increases average power usage, we suggest starting at Extended Use or higher (3840Wh+) for best results.
Miles shown are depicted as a maximum 100%-0% range. Deep cycling to 0% does not hurt the life of LiFePo4 batteries, however frequent deep cycles past 30% charge is not recommended for series connected battery balance. The same holds true for series connected lead acid, however lead acid cells cannot be discharged below 50% without damage. Topping-off Lithium batteries after every discharge prevents balance related issues.

Also our “State of Charge” meter has an LCD screen that provides you an accurate percentage reading so there is no guessing how much charge remains….similar to a cell phone.
Lithium batteries weigh approximately 1/4th the weight of the lead-acid reducing the overall weight of your cart by 300lbs. This sizable reduction of weight has benefits for all aspects of your cart to include tires, brakes and suspension parts. For 6 and 8 passenger 72v people movers the reduction of weight is over 400lbs!
No maintenance. That means no watering, no acid and no corrosion. Also there is no need for rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling our batteries.
Allied Battery has over 30 years of experience in Lithium and safety. The LifePO4 chemistry used in our batteries is much safer than lead acid which produces harmful by products (lead and acid) that are hazardous materials.
Our BMS (battery management system) will detect any problems with the performance of the battery and shut down any cells not functioning properly. The BMS will also protect the batteries from any over-charging or under charging of the batteries.

For carts left in storage either for long winters or snow birds leaving their carts for months, lithium batteries only lose 5%-10% of charge per month. Lead-Acid batteries will lose up to 33% of charge per month when not on the charger.
Charging: A full 48V setup will charge in 2-3 hours versus lead acid batteries that require 10-12 hours.
Opportunity Charging: This means you can top off your Lithium Batteries any time you want without harming the batteries (just like your cell phone). You cant do this with Lead Acid without damaging and reducing the life of the batteries.
In order to maximize the life of the Lithium battery we require the Allied Lithium Battery Charger. Allied Lithium chargers come with OEM plugs, charge the batteries quickly and turn off when charging is complete.
